A PROCLAMATION TO AMEND THE TRANSACTION TAXES PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, it is necessary to further amend the Trans action Taxes Proclamation No. 205/1963, as amended ;

NOW, THEREFORE, in accordance with Article 5 (6) of the Redefinition of Powers and Responsibilities of the Provi sional Military Administrative Council and the Council of Ministers Proclamation No. 110/1977, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:
This Proclamation may be cited as the " Transaction Taxes (Amendment) Proclamation No. 170/1979 ".
2. Amendment
The Transaction Taxes Proclamation No. 205/1963, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows:
new Article 5:
" 5.1. Tax on goods imported or exported shall be charged, levied and collected by the Customs and Excise Administration at the points of entry or exit on the value of goods as esti mated by the Customs and Excise Administra tion as follows:
