A PROCLAMATION TO DETERMINE THE SALARY AND ALLOWANCE OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL OF REPRESENTATIVES
Short Title
Now therefore, in accordance with Article 9 (d) of the Transitional Period Charter, it is hereby proclaimed as follows:

This Proclamation may be cited as the " Determination of the Salary and Allowance of the Members of the Council of Representatives of the Transitional Government of Ethiopia Proclamation No. 5/1991 ”.
2. Salary
1. A member of the Council of Representatives shall be paid Birr 750 (seven hundred fifty) monthly salary. A member of the Council of Representatives shall have the right to opt for the monthly salary deter mined under sub - article 1 of this Article or the month ly salary he used to earn in a government office or government institution immediately before he joined the Council.
