OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 10 Year No.1 ADDIS ABABA - 14h October , 2003 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 371/2003 The Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on Matters specific to Aircraft Equipment Ratification Proclamation Page 2405 PROCLAMATION NO . 371/2003 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE CONVENTION ON INTERNATIONAL INTERESTS IN MOBILE EQUIPMENT AND THE PROTOCOL TO THE CONVENTION ON MATTERS SPECIFIC TO AIRCRAFT EQUIPMENT WHEREAS , the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and Protocol to the Convention on Matters Specific to Aircraft Equipment was singed in Capte Town , WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified the Convention and the Protocol at its session held on the 14th day NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Aricle 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : This Proclamation may be cited as “ The Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Protocol to the Convention on Matters specific to Aircraft Equipment Ratification Proclamation No. 371 / 2. Ratification of the Convention and the Protocol The Convention on international Interest in Mobil Equipment and the Protocol to the convention on matters specific to Aircraft Equipment signed in Cape Town , South Africa on November 16 " , 2001 are hereby ratified . Declarations Ethiopia hereby makes declarations relating to certain provisions of the Convention and the Protocol , as attached herewith . 4. Power of the Minister of Infrastructure The Minister of Infrastructure is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the implementation of the Convention and the Protocol . 5. Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the 14 " day of October , 2003 . Done at Addis Ababa , this 145 day of October , 2003 .
