A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC SOUTH AFRICA FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION AND THE PREVENTION OF FISCAL EVASION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME WHEREAS , an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income ( the Agreement ) was signed between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and ስምምነት | Government of the Republic of South Africa in Addis Ababa on the 17th day of March 2004 ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives ዲሞክራሲያዊ | ratified an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double ህዳር ፳፯ Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with ባደረገው ስብሰባ ያፀደቀው | respect to Taxes on Income on its meeting held on the 6 of December 2005 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; Unit Price * * The African Law Archive 1. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to implement the Agreement in cooperation with the concerned Government organs .
