A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE GOVEREMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME WHEREAS , an Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income ( the Agreement ) was signed between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives vec ratified the Agreement for the Avoidance of Double meeting held on the 6th December 2005 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article ፶፭ / ፩ / እና / ፲፪ / | 55 Sub - Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as “ Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income Ratification Proclamation No.480 / 2005 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive Ratification of the Agreement The Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income signed on the 2nd day of March 2005 is ratified . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to implement the Agreement in cooperation with the concerned Government organs . 4 ..
