A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TUNISIA FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME WHEREAS , an Agreement for the Avoidance of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia on 23rd January WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives the Agreement ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Tunisia for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income Ratification Proclamation No.508 / 2006 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive * Page 3306 2. Ratification of the Convention The Agreement between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Tunisia , for the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income signed 23rd January 2003 is ratified . 3 , Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development Minister Finance Economic Development is hereby empowered to implement the Agreement in cooperation with the concerned Government organs .
