A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE CONVENTION BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENTS OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND ROMANIA FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBLE TAXATION AND THE PREVENTION OF FISCAL EVASION WITH RESPECT TO TAXES ON INCOME AND ON CAPITAL WHEREAS , a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital ( the Convention ) was signed between Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Romania in Bucharest on the 6th day of November 2003 ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article ኣንቀጽ ፶፭ / ፩ / እና / ፲፪ / | 55 Sub - Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; Unit Price The African Law Archive * www.AfricanLawArchive.éom 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ Convention between the Governments of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Romania for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital Ratification Proclamation No.486 / 2006 . ” Ratification of the Convention The Convention between the Governments of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and Romania for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital signed on the 6th day of November 2003 is ratified . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to implement the Convention in cooperation with the concerned Government organs .
