A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE PROTOCOL RELATING TO THE FUND FOR COOPERATION COMPENSATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMON MARKET FOR ESTERN AND SOUTHERN AFRICA WHEREAS , Ethiopia is a signatory party of the Treaty Southern Africa ( COMESA ) ; WHEREAS , the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has signed the protocol Relating to the Fund for Cooperation , Compensation and Development of WHEREAS , The House of Peoples ' Representatives of the protocol ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 ( 1 ) Republic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit Price The African Law Archive 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as “ The Protocol Relating to the Fund for Cooperation , Compensation and Development of the Common Market for Eastern Southern proclamation No.394 / 2004 . " 2. Ratification of the protocol The Protocol Relating to the Fund for Cooperation , Compensation and Development of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa ( COMESA ) signed in Addis Ababa on the 23rd day of May 2002 is ratified . Power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the implementation of the protocol . 4.
