A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE AGREEMENT SIGNED ON THE ENCOURAGEMENT AND RECIPROCAL PROTECTION OF INVESTMENTS WITH THE GREAT SOCIALIST PEOPLE'S LIBYAN ARAB JAMAHIRIYA WHEREAS , the Agreement on Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment between the Federal WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Agreement that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channel ; WHEREAS , the House of the People's held on 15th day of June , 2004 NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit Price The African Law Archive 1. Ratification of the Agreement The Agreement on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment signed in Addis Ababa on 27 January 2004 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Great socialist Peoples Libyan Arab Jamahiriya is Ratified . 3. Responsibility of the Ethiopian Investment Commission The Ethiopian Investment Commission is hereby empowered to implement this agreement . 4.
