A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE TREATY SIGNED ON THE RECIPROCAL ENCOURAGEMENT AND PROTECTION OF INVESTMENTS WITH RTHE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY WHEREAS , the Treaty on Encouragement and Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Federal Republic of Germany is signed in Addis Ababa 19 January 2004 ; WHEREAS , it is stipulated in the Treaty that it shall enter into force on the date of exchange of instruments of ratification through diplomatic channel ; WHEREAS , the House of the People's held on 15th day of June , 2004 NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Unit Price The African Law Archive This Proclamation may be cited as “ Investment Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection Treaty with The Federal Republic of Germany Ratification Proclamation No. 404/2004 . ” The Treaty on the Encouragement and Reciprocal Protection of Investment signed in Addis Ababa on 19 January 2004 between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Federal Republic of Germany is Ratified . 3. Responsibility of the Ethiopian Investment Commission The Ethiopian Investment Commission is hereby empowered to implement this Treaty .
