OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 7th Year No. 12 ADDIS ABABA - 16 " January , 2001 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 230/2001 International Development Association Credit Agreement for Financing Emergency Demobilization and Reintegration Project Ratification Proclamation Page 1460 PROCLAMATION NO . 230/2001 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE CREDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , a Credit Agreement , between the Federal ( one hundred thirty three million seven hundred thousand Washington D.C. on the 21 “ day of December 2000 ; WHEREAS , basic economic international agreements have to be ratified prior to entry into force ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Credit Agreement at its session held on the 16th day of NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Sub - Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of Article 55 of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ International Development Association Credit Agreement for Finan cing Emergency Demobilization and Reintegration Project Ratification Proclamation No. 230/2001 . ” Unit Price 2.30 The African Law Archive No. 12 16 January , 2001– Page 1461 2. Definition In this Proclamation “ Credit Agreement ” means the Credit Agreement Number 3437 - ET signed in Washing ton D.C. on the 21 " day of December 2000 , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Inter national Development Association . 3. Power of the Minister of Finance The Minister of Finance is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the Credit amount of SDR 133,700,000 ( one hundred thirty three million seven hundred thousand Special Drawing Rights ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Credit Agreement . Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the 161 " day of January , 2001 .
