OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 7 " Year No. 14 ADDIS ABABA- 30 " January , 2001 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 231/2001 International Development Association Credit Agreement for financing the Women's Development Initiatives Project Ratification Proclamation Page 146 2 PROCLAMATION NO . 231/2001 A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE CREDIT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION WHEREAS , a Credit Agreement , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Develop ment Association stipulating that the International Development Association provide to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia a Credit amount of SDR 3,800,000 ( three million eight hundred thousand Special Drawing Rights ) for financing the Women's Development Initiatives Project , ' was signed in Washington D.C. on the 28 ' " day of August , 2000 ; WHEREAS , basic economic international agreements have to be ratified prior to entry into force ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the • Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has ratified said Credit Agreement at its session held on the 30 " day of January , 2001 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ International Development Association Credit Agreement for Financing Women's Development Initiatives Project Ratification Proclamation No. 23 1 / 2001 . Definition In this Proclamation “ Credit Agreement ” means the Credit Agreement No. 3407 - ET signed in Washington D.C. on the 281 " day of August , 2000 , between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the International Development Association .
