OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA 10 Year No. 3 ADDIS ABABA - 28 October , 2003 CONTENTS Proclamation No. 373/2003 The convention for the protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict and its first protocol Accession Proclamation Page 2424 PROCLAMATION NO . 373/2003 A PROCLAMATION TO ACCEDE THE CONVENTION FOR THE PROTECTION OF CULTURAL PROPERTY IN THE EVENT OF ARMED CONFLICT AND ITS FIRST PROTOCOL WHEREAS , it is found essential that Ethiopia Accede the convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict Signed at Hague on the 14 day of WHEREAS , the said convention and protocol is found to be paramount importance in protecting the Ethiopian WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representative of convention and its first protocol at its session held on the 28th day of October , 2003 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Democratic Republic of Ethiopia , it is hereby proclaimed as follows : 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as “ ' The convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the event of Armed Conflict and its first protocol Accession Proclamation No. 373/2003 . Effective Date This Proclamation shall enter into force as of the 284 day of October , 2003 .
