A PROCLAMATION TO RATIICY THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SUDAN ON COOPERATION · IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE WHEREAS , the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has entered in to basic Agreement with the Government of the Republic የሚያስችሉ | of the Sudan for the promotion of friendly relations countries ; WHEREAS , the Government of Ethiopia has ትብብርን ለማስፋፋት | expressed its willingness to develop cooperation in various fields in conformity with mutual benefits ; WHEREAS , the House of Peoples ' Representatives of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has on 11 May , 2002 , Unit Price The African Law Archive Page 2649 NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub - Article ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , of the proclaimed as follows ; 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited “ Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of the Republic of the Sudan on Cooperation in the field of Culture Proclamation No.403 / 2004 . " 2. Ratification of the Agreement Agreement between the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Government of Republic of the Sudan on Cooperation in the field of Culture signed on 11th May 2002 , is here by ratified by the Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia . 3. Power of Implementation The Minister of Youth , Sports and Culture of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia shall have the Power to implement this Proclamation .. 4. Effective Date This Proclamation shall come in to force as of the 10th day of June , 2004 .
