A PROCLAMATION TO RATIFY THE LOAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLLIC OF ETHIOPIA AND THE AVRICAN DEVELOPMENT FUND WHEREAS , a Loan Agreement between the of Sustainable Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Free Areas in East and West Africa Project ; WHEREAS , House Peoples ' of Ethiopia has ratified said Loan Agreement at its session held on the 13th day of October , 2005 ; NOW , THEREFORE , in accordance with Article 55 Sub Articles ( 1 ) and ( 12 ) of the Constitution , it is hereby proclaimed as follows ; 1. Short Title This Proclamation may be cited as the “ African Development Fund Loan Agreement for Financing the Creation of Sustainable Tsetse and Trypanosomiasis Free Areas in East and West Africa Project Ratification Proclamation No.475 / 2005 . ” Unit Price The African Law Archive 17 November , 2005 Page 3312 2. Ratification of the Agreement The Loan Agreement No. 2100150009198 signed between the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Africa Development Fund on the 16th day of May , 2005 is ratified ; power of the Minister of Finance and Economic Development The Minister of Finance and Economic Development is hereby empowered to undertake all acts necessary for the utilization of the Loan amount of nine million five hundred fifty thousand United of Account ( UA 9,550,000 ) in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the Loan Agreement . 4. Effective Date The Proclamation shall enter into force on 17th day of November , 2005 .
